How to Connect to Bluetooth Speakers of Keystone Camper

I have a keystone 28rkd. I have two outdoor Bluetooth speakers that I can figure out how to connect to them. There is no receiver in the camper and Bluetooth does not show up on my phone. What am I doing wrong here.

Hey Mike, so I found some online Keystone manuals that detail how to link to the Bluetooth speakers.

1. Power on each Keystone by pressing their power buttons. You will hear "Power On" for confirmation. *2. The speakers will automatically, wirelessly link for stereo sound. The speakers will search for each other while playing an intermittent tone. Once the stereo pair is success fully linked, you will hear "Pairing successful, connected" followed by "Left channel" and "Right channel" on the respective speakers. *This process may take up to 2 minutes the first time two speakers are linked. Speakers that were previously linked will relink automatically in a few seconds if powered on in range of one another. Note: Keystone speakers should be within 30 ft. (9 m) of each other to Link properly.3. When the stereo link is confirmed by the solid green LED, press the Bluetooth Connect button on either speaker or the included remote to enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode. Note: The Left channel will be the "master" speaker, and the unit from which the Bluetooth range will be determined.4. On your Bluetooth device, navigate to your Bluetooth settings menu, find Keystone, and connect. Once the Bluetooth connection is made, the blue LED will be solid. You will hear "Connected" for confirmation. *Note: If you experience trouble in connecting, select "Forget this Device" for Keystone onyour Bluetooth device and try to connect again.5. If your Bluetooth device is not able to connect to Keystone, hold the Bluetooth Connect button on the speaker to break previous Bluetooth connections and reset the Bluetooth module.

I have a Keystone Springdale 291BRC & I’m having the same issues. It’s just 2 speakers in the outside of my RV nowhere to “turn them on” and no motherboard to connect them from. I’ve turned on my Bluetooth from my phone, & nothing pops up to give me to option to connect?

@KennethB I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with turning the speakers on. I found some information on the web that I hope is helpful: locate the audio system control panel, usually found near the entertainment center or on the dashboard, and press the power button; depending on your model, you may need to turn on the main power source for the camper as well, and then select your desired audio source on the control panel. I was also able to locate a video where I found the following information: If your camper does not have a entertainment center, when you go into the camper on the left you should have a control panel where you can see your tank levels and have awning controls. The 2nd exterior lights are supposed to control the exterior speakers (why they don't put speakers instead of exterior lights is beyond me). I hope this information helps.

Thanks this really helped for the outside speakers but no music comes out inside my trailer speakers how do we get those turned on

@Carol Well Carol, let's see if we can get those working as well. Here is some troubleshooting to go over: -Check the Source Setting: Make sure that the audio source is set to you play through the inside speakers. Make sure that the volume for the inside speakers in not tuned all the way down or muted. - Inspect the Speaker Selector: If your system has a selector switch or touchscreen control for indoor and outdoor speakers, make sure the indoor zone is enabled. - Examine Wiring Connections: Access the back of the media center and check if the wires connected to the inside speakers are securely attached. Look for any loose or frayed wires along the way. - Check for Faulty Components: I would try to put the outside speaker connectors into the inside spot, to rule out if the speakers are bad, this will let you know if its an internal issue with the system amplifier or speaker output. -Check the Fuses: check for any blown fuses related to the audio system. I hope as you go through that checklist, you find where the problem is. Let me know if you have any other questions. @42 Hey 4 2. So you just have speakers outside but no motherboard like the Furrion RV Stereo - Single DIN - HDMI, AUX/USB, Bluetooth, NFC, App Control - 6W - 2 Zone - 12V # DV3300SBL? If your Keystone Springdale 291BRC has exterior speakers but you don’t see any kind of stereo system inside, don’t worry, that’s more common than you’d think. What’s likely happening is that there’s a hidden Bluetooth receiver or amplifier somewhere in the RV. Even though it’s not visible like a traditional stereo, it’s still powering those outside speakers and allowing Bluetooth connections. These units are often tucked away behind a cabinet panel, near the TV, or inside an overhead compartment sometimes even completely hidden behind a vented wall. If your phone is picking up a Bluetooth signal and asking for a 4-digit code, that’s a sure sign the system is powered on and waiting to pair. Since common codes like 0000 or 1234 didn’t work, you might try resetting the system. You can do that by turning off all RV power, either by flipping the battery disconnect switch or unplugging shore power, waiting a couple of minutes, then powering back up. After that, try pairing again and see if it accepts one of the default codes. If not, the actual receiver model (once we find it) will tell us what code it uses or how to reset the pairing altogether. Please let me know if you were able to locate the receiver of amplifier, if you are still having issues please also provide me with the brand and model number so I can do some digging.
