Where is the Brake Controller Plug on my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LD

Question:

I have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LD LT. It has a Female plug in mounted under the dash almost directly centered with the steering column. I do not see any plugs that look like they will fit this.

The factory brake controller port on your 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 LD is in your vehicle's junction box underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column. The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3064-P is actually not the part you need for your Silverado 1500 LD. That adapter is for the new body style Silverado. The adapter you need is part # 3016 which is for the older body style including the LD version of your 2019 Silverado. I attached a video install on a 2017 Silverado that will show you where the box is on your 2019 Silverado LD because they are the same body style.
