How Does the Drive RV Bluetooth Speaker Connect to a Mobile Device?

Question:

How do you pair it with a phone or other device? It does not have a pairing button.

Expert Reply:

There is no physical Bluetooth button on the RV Bluetooth Portable Speaker # DR65FR the Bluetooth feature is always on, so you'll just need to go into your Bluetooth menu on your device and select "EEVD-08".

From here you should be connected and the speaker will receive a Bluetooth signal from up to 10 meters (32.8').

we just purchased a Sprindale Keysence travel trailer and it has 2 speakers that are lit blue but when we try to pair it the 0000 code and 1111 (or most combinations) say not paired. Campers Inn didn't have any information and suggested we call manufacturer. Can you help? M600BT shows up when we click bluetooth from our phone but asks for a pairing pin.

@BryceD M600BT I have the same problem the Coachmen Viking 50th Ann Edition 14’ popup has I think a controller to link the speakers and you connect to the controller if it loses power needs a manual reset, maybe?? could’ve sworn this happened before and it was hiding under my bed near the water pump. Or maybe take the cover off and hit a reset button, I’ll look tomorrow.

Hello. I’m trying to pair these speakers and I am stuck. The blue lights are on in the speakers but can’t pair up. Is there a button or something I’m missing. Todd

@Todd That's interesting, there is no button because the Bluetooth is always on. You should just be able to go into your Bluetooth list on your device and select the speaker from the list.

@BryceD the mode button configured Bluetooth but there is no way to turn Bluetooth on or off it happens at random. You are mistaken sadly

I cannot connect to EEVD-08 also. It never shows up on my phone when searching blue tooth devices. I have no problem with the list of other devices I pare with.

@Rob Have you tried restarting the speaker and seeing if it shows up after a restart? If you have and still no luck, I'd recommend just reaching out to Drive and see if they have some more extensive troubleshooting you can do.

@BryceD I also have the problem of the speaker not showing up on my Apple IPad nor an android one including my phone. I’m connected to Bluetooth & can connect other devices, so not sure why this isn’t.
