Wiring a Brake Controller to a 2008 Ford F-150

Question:
I have a 08 f150 with trailer tow pkg. I have the wip part # 4l3t-14a348-aa that plugs in under dash it has 5 wires blue elc. brakes -red feed wire -black - illumination - white ground -green stop lamp. On controler I have 4 wires. Red-Black-Blue-White. I need to hard wire the 2 together. What wire goes with what wire ? Thank You,

On your brake controller the red wire is the stoplight switch circuit of the brake controller and it would wire to the green wire of your harness that is labeled stop lamp.
The black wire of the brake controller is the 12 volt power source and would get run to the red wire of your harness that is labeled feed wire.
The illumination circuit isn't used.
The blue wire is the brake output circuit of the controller and would get run to the blue wire of the harness that is labeled electric brakes.
