Expert Reply:
E-Z Lube hubs like # 84550UC1-EZ that you referenced are intended for use on axles that are equipped with E-Z Lube spindles. They feature removable plugs that pop out to provide access to the grease zerk fitting in the end of the spindle. Adding an E-Z Lube hub to a regular axle will not provide the E-Z Lube functionality but if the bearing set is the same as your original hubs then they may be used as substitutes but without the E-Z Lube feature.
The idler hubs you referenced use bearings L68149 (inner) and L44649 (outer). If your current hubs use the same bearings then these hubs will work on your axle.
To have the E-Z Lube feature you will need to either change out your axle to one like # T20BTR-EZ-6048 or have a qualified trailer technician weld on new E-Z Lube spindles such as # TRU44FR.
