Best Trailer Wiring Harness to Add a 5-Way Flat to a 1996 Toyota 4Runner

Do you have the converter/harness for a 5 wire flat system? I need the extra wire for the backup trailer brake release.

To add a 5-Way flat trailer connector on your 1996 Toyota 4-Runner you have a couple of options. First you can use hardwire installation kit # 119177KIT. I have linked the installation instructions to the right.
The other option is to use a plug and play 4-Way harness, # 118341 or # C55341. Then you would use a 4 to 5-Way adapter, # 20036.
If you want to avoid hardwiring as much as possible, then going with the second option would be best.
