Question:
I purchased the S64670 for use on my Fifth Wheel trailer based on the specific Experts recommendations 2 for this use found on your Q/A pages. Upon assembly, Im surprised and dismayed to see that on the receiver bar there is a sticker that says Warning-Do not use on a trailer or fifth wheel. The owners manual says that the rack is not covered under warranty if mounted on the back of a trailer or fifth wheel. My mounting location is solid and reinforced. The rack seems solidly and sturdily built. Why the contradiction between your Experts recommendation and Swagmans warnings not to use for my application? Hope I dont need to return the rack!

I spoke with my contact at Swagman and she said the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670 that you reference is not rated for use at the rear of an RV, trailer or camper because of the additional forces present at the back of trailers.
The Swagman 2 bike platform racks rated for use at the rear of an RV, trailer or camper is the # S64663. This bike rack will only be able to carry 2 bikes.
The only 4 bike rack rated for the rear of a RV or travel trailer is the Swagman 4 Bike Rack, part # S80600. This bike rack attaches to a 4x4 inch continuous-weld steel bumper. It cannot be used on spot welded or aluminum camper bumpers. You will still need to make sure that your bumper will be able to handle the total weight of the bike rack and the bikes.
I have linked to a page featuring all of our motorhome, trailers and RV bike racks for you to check out.
