In order to add electric brakes to your trailer there are a few things needed. I have attached a link to a helpful article that explains how to add electric brakes to a trailer an what is needed.
Some of the things you will need to know are the weight capacity of the axle(s), and if the axle has a brake mounting flange installed, similar to part # 4-35. If there is no brake mounting flange on the axle, you will need to have one welded on by a certified professional.
You will then want to choose hub and drums that will work. As the help article explains, you will need to know what the bearing and seals are to find the right hub and drum. You will also need to know the wheel bolt pattern. I have attached a help article that explains how to determine the bolt pattern of your wheels.
You will also need to run wiring from the front of the trailer to the brakes.
If you can give me the specifics for your setup, I will be happy to make some recommendations that will work for you.
