How do I identify the key code for Yakima Getaway bike rack?

If the key number isn't on the face of the lock, it'll be engraved into the side of the lock core. If the lock is unlocked, you can use the Yakima Control Key # Y8007835 to remove the lock core and get the code number off the side. You'd then order a replacement key, part # Y8772-XXXX with the X's representing the key number on the lock cylinder. For example, if the number on the core was A136, then the replacement key needed would be # Y8772-A136.

If the lock is not unlocked, you'll need to have a locksmith pick the lock so the core can be removed.
