Question:
Hi I am looking to replace my 2 axles and leafs on my MY2014 NEO trailer. The factory axles are 3.5K from Dexter with electric brakes. Questions to you... Are 7685269-EB and e57SR the correct replacement items? What brakes are on the 7685269-EB axles? Nev-R-Adjust Brakes? Do the 7685269-EB axles come fully assembled? Thanks Dan

Hi Dan,
I'm not able to tell what 3.5K Dexter axles were installed on your camper based on the year and model alone, I'll need the serial number from the axle tag. It should still be visible on the axle and can tell me all the dimensions of the axle to make sure we get you the proper one. It will also list what type of brakes are on the axle, since it's a Dexter axle, if the brakes are self-adjusting they should be Nev-R-Adjust brakes.
I don't know if the etrailer 3-Leaf Double Eye Spring part # e57SR is a fit without checking the measurements of your current springs. To get the right size leaf springs, we'll need to know the width of the leaf spring and the length when measuring from center eye to center eye. If the spring is too long or short, it'll change how the suspension works and affect the trailer's ride quality so it's important to get the right sized spring.
All that being said, the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - 4" Drop - E-Z Lube - 3.5K Part # 7685269-EB does not ship fully assembled. The hubs and brake would all be in their own boxes separate from the axle to prevent them from being damaged and any parts getting lost in transit.
What do you usually haul with your NEO trailer?
