Maximum Roof Slope for Installing a Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner

Question:

What is the maximum angle roof this can be mounted on? The installation instructions you have linked are only a spec sheet. I asked AI and it stated 15 degrees max, as the water from the evaporator is slung onto the condenser coils for better efficiency. I just wanted to see in writing what Lippert states as my current Dometic AC unit is on a slant. I need to get onto the roof to measure the angle.

Welcome back Adam! The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner # FR59TQ can be installed on a roof with up to a 15° slope, either side to side or front to back. If your roof exceeds 15°, Lippert requires an exterior leveling shim to keep the AC level.

I attached a picture from Lippert's installation instructions showing this requirement. You can also find it on page 6 of their installation manual.
