Best RV AC Unit Recommendation to Replace Dometic
Updated 09/29/2026 | Published 09/25/2026 >
Question:
I have a fofth wheel and the main ac needs repalced. The ac unit which needs repalaced is a Dometic 541816A701C0. Do you carry a unit to replace the Dometic as I understand they are no longer available. Mine is a ducted, dual zone, 15,000 btu. If there is a larger one with more BTU I would be open to that.

Hey Larry, we have just what you are looking for with the Furrion Chill Cube part # LC34DX. This is a really nice ducted setup to replace what you have now that has a higher BTU rating, is very quiet, and it draws a very low amount of current as well.
The only thing is that it will not integrate into your dual zone setup because it is a different brand and also because now it is required that all AC units made use a different refrigerant due to a law change and the systems are now ran totally different. How did you like the Dometic setup you have? You can still continue to use the AC you were planning on keeping but it would run as a single zone unit.

Whatever a/c unit I get I would want it to work in conjunction with the other unit. It would be set up as part of the multi zone unit and work with the Dometic ccc2 thermostat. What do you have that wouyl fit?
