Lithium Battery Replacement for 2024 Jayco Pinnacle

Updated 09/20/2026 | Published 09/18/2026

Question:

We have a 2024 Jayco Pinnacle with two solar panels. 3 lead acid batteries. Would two Alpha 1 Pro be a good starting point to replacing the lead acid. I would have room for 4. And what would I need to change on the camper with on shore charging and when its hooked up to pull vehicle. We do a few weeks a year with boondocking, and I currently have a portable generator that I take with but have to run generator daily to re-charge lead acid. Thanks

Hey Bob, yes the Rich Solar Alpha 1 Pro Lithium Battery part # RS74VR would be a great option to replace the lead acid batteries you have currently. I wouldn't try and mix this in with your current lead acid batteries though as it would need to be all the same type. The only thing that has to be potentially changed is your charger. You would need to make sure it has a lithium profile on it as lithium batteries charge at a different voltage. If you let me know what you have I can tell you if it is lithium compatible. Since your RV is a 2024 I'd be shocked if the converter didn't have a lithium profile though.
