Looking For Replacement Norcold 1200LRIM Propane And Electric Refrigerator

Question:

We have a Rv propane and electric refrigerator. Do you know what model would fit and replace it? Norcold model 1200 LRIM

Hey Gary, thanks for reaching out. The Norcold 1200LRIM is an older 12 cu. ft. 2-way propane/120V absorption refrigerator with an ice maker. Its cabinet opening is approximately 63-1/4" tall x 32-11/16" wide x 24" deep. We do have 120v refrigerators that can work with some cabinet modification, but unfortunately, we do not currently carry a direct propane/electric replacement for the 1200LRIM.

Our closest option is the Norcold Polar N7X RV Refrigerator # NC96VR which is 7 cu. ft and fits a 53" tall x 23-1/2" wide x 24" deep cutout. So it is a bit smaller than your 1200LRIM, but this will be our closest option that will fit your cutout without going too large. You'll need to trim the cutout to make it smaller, but that is definitely easier than enlarging the cutout.

Do you camp off-grid or mostly at hookups?

Thank you for the reply. I think we are going to have to replace ours with the Norcold replacement model of ours. We were hoping not to spend almost six thousand dollars . Again thank you. Gary

@GaryM Yea I know what you mean. There are some pretty pricy 120v RV fridges out there. The Norcold I mentioned will work great as long as you are good with trimming out the opening. That will make everything look a lot cleaner and closer to the factory look. Let me know how it works out!
