Question:
I have a question about the Ball Mount Adapter for Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Part Number: BA-1 that I purchased. Can it be used mounted in either direction? What I mean is with the tab that the ball mounts to either on top or on the bottom? Im pretty sure it can because the product photos show it being used both ways, but I wanted to double check. Thank you in advance.

Hi Ray,
The Ball Mount Adapter for Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Part # BA-1can be mounted in either the rise or drop position. So, the tab can be at the top or bottom depending on if you need rise or drop to hook up to whatever trailer you're wanting to tow.
What kind of trailer are you planning on towing with the adapter?

In this case the trailer is just a utility trailer. I had an old heavy Equal-I-Zer adjustable shank that the BA-1 ball mount fits perfectly. Being able to use it in either rise or drop position makes it perfect to fine tune the height of the trailer tongue. Thanks for the answer!
