Hello, I need some advice to make sure Im buying the right part. I have a Ram 2500 with the OEM Mopar M30 fifth wheel hitch. I know that hitch is made by Curt. I think it is exactly the same as the Curt A30. I am buying a new Ford F-350 and I need the Curt legs for that hitch to fit the Ford puck system. Can you confirm that Part Number: C25JR is what I need? Thank you for your help.

Hi Timothy, yes, the Curt part # C25JR is exactly what you need to replace the base legs on your Curt A30, which is the same hitch as the Mopar M30, and fit it to the Ford OEM fifth wheel prep package.

According to Curt, the C25JR replaces the base on several of their fifth wheel hitches, including the Curt A30. The Mopar M30 version is the same exact hitch as the Curt A30, part # C64BR, so you can reuse your existing hitch head and replace the legs with the C25JR for your new F-350. This should make for a nice, straightforward way to move the hitch you already have over to the Ford puck system.
