Will The etrailer Anti-Rattle Device For 2.5" Hitches e55YV Secure A 500 Pound Motorcycle Carrier?

Question:
Part Number: e55YV I have a dual motorcycle carrier on my 2018 Ram 2500. My questions is will This device prevent the carrier wobble when it has 500 lbs of bike on it. Or is it just a ani rattle device. It’s seems unlikely that a hand tightened device could be strong enough. Thanks

I see you already placed your order, but I still wanted to get you an answer, so here it goes.
The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2.5" Hitch Receivers # e55YV will indeed secure your motorcycle carrier. With your 2018 Ram 2500 being a 4th gen, there will be no issues attaching it (5th gen trucks have less room for it than yours does). However, you will need to keep it with the tightening knob pointed down when using the reducer sleeve this includes. Not really an issue or anything, just something to be aware of.

There's no such thing as a 5th gen Cummins, yet. This 2.5" works great on all of the 2010-2027 trucks. The weight won't be a problem. I use it with 2200 lbs of tongue load.
