Need Replacement AC Unit For Motorhome
Updated 08/27/2026 | Published 08/21/2026 >
Question:
Hello, I have pictures of my data for my air conditioner that is on my motorhome. I need information on a replacement unit. If there is more than one option, I would be interested in that information. Like if there is a model that is quieter, I would be interested in it. If you will send me an email, ill attach the data plates and reply. Thank you for taking my email.

Hey Reginald, thanks for reaching out. We will undoubtedly have an AC unit for your motorhome. If you are looking for a quieter unit, the Furrion Chill Cube, Or Coleman Mach Everest will be the best options. They both use variable speed compressors, so they are much quieter on startup, and when running. The info off your sticker helps a bit, but mainly I just need to know if your motorhome has a ducted or ductless setup, and whether or not you have a heat pump or furnace running on the same thermostat as the AC.
If you do have a furnace you need to run, I recommend the Mach-C Everest Variable Speed RV Air Conditioner System # CM55MR. This is a complete AC system, so you get your rooftop unit, distribution box and wall thermostat. The distribution box can work with both ducted and ductless setups, and the wall thermostat can control the furnace as well as the AC. It has an 18,000 BTU rating, so you get more cooling capacity all with less amp draw than most standard 13.5K or 15K BTU units. They are also very quiet - about 50 decibels when running on full blast. That's about the same volume as light rainfall or a quiet conversation. Another thing I like about this unit is the 360-degree distribution box. It allows you to direct air any direction in the camper, which really makes it more comfortable and help eliminate hot spots.
If your current AC unit has a heat pump, the Furrion Chill Cube is a great option that also runs quietly and is highly efficient. I'll just need to know if you have a ducted or ductless setup since there are different part numbers for each.
Do you have a furnace or heat pump currently? Is it a ducted or ductless setup? Oh also let me know if you prefer a white or black AC unit.
