Question:

I have a 2023 HYBRID Toyota Highlander with FWD and am going to install a trailer hitch. It looks like it is a bit challenging to install the right one. Can you advise which hitchs will fit? An AI search said that Curt C45CR might fit, but i hope to get the usable hitches from you guys. The FWD Hybrid seems to have some challenges. Thanks, Steve

Hey Steve! The # C45CR will fit as long as it is not an XSE. However, I do not recommend installing this hitch on your vehicle. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR is a much better choice for your Highlander.

This doesn't have the XSE restriction and has a concealed cross tube so you have better clearance. It also looks significantly better, and as of right now will save you a little money. FWD is not an issue and will not impact the fitment of the hitch.
