Updated 08/12/2026 | Published 08/11/2026

Question:

Does part PD4560LICSV have a plug and play replacement part as it seems to have been discontinued? I am trying to upgrade mine for lithium battery.

Hi Joe, yes, there is a plug and play replacement that will let you upgrade your Progressive Dynamics setup for a lithium battery part, you need part # PD4560CSV. I reached out to Progressive Dynamics, and they confirmed that they have actually updated the replacement converter section to work with lithium batteries which is why the PD4560LICSV is now discontinued. The older version did not have lithium compatibility, but the current , does. It is designed as a direct replacement converter section for the PD4560, PD4575, and PD4590 power centers.

The nice thing is you don’t have to replace the entire power center just to make the switch to lithium. The lithium switch is located on the DC distribution board of the 4500 Series power center. Once the new converter section is installed, you simply move that switch up to the LI position for lithium charging.

Are you replacing your current battery with lithium for the first time?

I have not found the switch you are referring to. No switch to lithium. My power converter system part # is PD4560K12L. The part u refer to will fit, but no switch on the DC Distribtion board for lithium. The only number I see to ID the DC distribution board is 110418 Rev A.

@HeatherA So the new power converter will have a switch on it? Everything I have read shows the switch to be on DC Distribution board which is a seperate part.

@JoeB Yes, according to progressive dynamics if you purchase the PD4560CSV, it will be upgraded with the switch to charge lithium batteries.
