What Size TorkLift SuperTruss Extension Do I Need for a Truck Camper With 35 Inches of Overhang?

We have a truck camper on a 2025 GMC 3500HD. We already have the superhitch reciever. We need the extension. From reciever to end of camper is 35. What do you recommend?

Thanks for writing in!
I have an extension that will work great for you, and it will even give you an extra inch for a little wiggle room. The TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1536 is going to be the best option for you. They don't make a 35" SuperTruss, so with your measurement of 35" from the receiver to the end of the camper, the 36" is the size I would go with rather than the 32" # TLE1532.
Since you already have the TorkLift SuperHitch on your 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD, the # TLE1536 is made to work with that dual-receiver setup and gives you a 2" receiver at the end for your towing setup.
If you have the SuperHitch Original or Magnum, the 36" SuperTruss is rated for up to 6,500 lbs of trailer weight with 650 lbs of tongue weight. When used with a properly rated weight distribution system, that increases to 12,000 lbs of trailer weight and 1,200 lbs of tongue weight. If you have the SuperHitch Hero, the capacities are lower, so you'll want to follow the ratings for that specific hitch.
You'll also want to make sure you stay within the towing and payload capacities GMC gives your specific 3500HD. Your towing setup is always limited by its lowest-rated component.

Hey Miki, I have a similar setup 2022 GMC 3500 and an Arctic Fox 990 camper. I bought the 36” extension to pull my boat and it is the perfect length. Gives enough room out the back but I can also unfold my camper steps without removing the extension.
