Question:
Im wondering if you guys can help me figure the best Fifth Wheel hitch for a flatbed truck. I have a turnover ball installed on my other truck, with the hitch. Just wondering what would work best to use on this new truck. I can send photos, and measurements. 2023 Chevy 4500 Cab and Chassis flatbed. Thanks Nick

Hey Nick, thanks for reaching out. We definitely have good options for a flatbed like yours. Based on what you've described, the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550046 is the hitch I recommend. It mounts directly to a 2-5/16" recessed gooseneck ball, making it an excellent choice for a flatbed truck while keeping the bed clear when the hitch is removed.
The only real installation requirement is the top of the gooseneck ball must be 13/16" or closer to the top of the truck bed. So, as long as your setup meets that requirement, you'll be good to go.
