Question:
I order a set of brakes for my trailer and am looking for the flange bolts. There are 4 per side, I believe they are a 9/16 x 1 and I would like them in plated or galvanized. Do you offer them? The Brakes that I order is Part Number: # T4423500-400. Jeremy

Hey Jeremy!
The correct mounting flange bolt kit for your Dexter Hydraulic Trailer Brakes # T4423500-400 is Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10A. This kit includes 8 bolts, 8 nuts, and 8 washers to allow you to replace the hardware for both flanges on a single axle. These are 7/16"-20 x 1-1/4" Grade 5 zinc-plated steel, so they're not the exact size that you mentioned, but they are the correct parts for the brake that you have.
Are these going on a boat or are you in a salty climate? The zinc-plating on these is great for either situation!

I had an Eagle 2000 boat trailer that I needed to replace the shoes and clean up the assemblies as the seals had leaked and there was grease all over inside the drums. I found it cheaper and easier to buy these Dexter assemblies than buying just the brake shoes. It was easier to just mount the assemblies than it was to change out the brake shoes. It didn’t take but a couple of hours to complete. The job looks great and they perform very well so far. I would definitely go this route next time as opposed to just trying to find the right parts to replace the shoes on a 20 + year old trailer.
