Question:
I have a 2014 toyota tacoma v6 that has the tow hitch and flat 4 terminal connector. I need to add to this a 7 pin round connector for towing a rv. Suggestions please.

Hey Tom! Since you already have a 4-way on your Tacoma the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 is all you need to upgrade to a 7-way. This comes with the adapter, wiring, breakers, and everything else required for installation.
Are you towing a trailer with brakes? If you need a brake controller as well, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. This brake control is both simple and reliable. You can also install the control knob in the dash using # 331-TPSI-007 for a factory look.
What kind of trailer are you towing?

Super easy to install without a break controller in the cab. I am using the Curt Echo break controller which is Bluetooth. I did have to run a power wire up to the battery to power the unit....still pretty easy on my Highlander
