I am looking for a light duty bolt on jack that has the mount close to the bottom of the jack. There is not much ground clearance when the machine is hitched to the sxs so was hoping for a swivel jack with a foot where the mount is at the bottom of the jack.

Thanks for reaching out Phillip. If you're looking for a light duty jack for low ground clearance I'd recommend # TJBB-2001-B. When retracted, this jack will measure 11" from the center of the swivel point to the bottom of the jack foot. This is a topwind jack rated for 2,000 lbs that gives you 10-1/2" of total lift.
Where do you tow the SXS most—rocky trails, ranch roads, or paved drives?

I purchased the Dutton Lainson Jack as a direct replacement for one that had seized up due to rust. The install was straight forward. However after about 3 months the new one also had heavy rust on the “interior cylinder.” The jack works fine but I would not recommend for salt water use. An aluminum jack would be a better fit.
