Can I Install a Ducted Furrion Chill Cube Without an Air Distribution Box?

I have a 2019 Forest River Cedar Creek Silverback 29RE and am I interested in replacing the current A/C with a Furiron Ducted unit. The RV doesnt have a inside plate no access to the A/C from the interior. Can the Furrion be installed completely from the roof? Is it possible to have a installation manual sent to me?

Hi Andrew,
I'm sorry but the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR39TD cannot be installed without the air distribution box. Furrion specifically states that the air distribution box is required to install the Furrion Chill Cube (even for a ducted unit). They are designed to work together because the air distribution box provides the electrical and control connections between the rooftop unit and the RV. It's also the interface for the remote control and temperature sensors. A 14"x14" hole will need to be cut into the roof underneath the rooftop unit to install the Chill Cube with the air distribution box.
We don't have the manual, but I was able to find one for this model online and I've linked it to this answer. The installation manual is also available for download on Lippert's website.

Dometic breeze II is currently installed as the living room unit. I have a Domectic penguin as the bedroom and don't know if I will allow one to be installed due to height issues.
