The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for a 2 hitch looks like a winner. However, I WANT AN etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for a 2-1/2 hitch. Please notify me when such a etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar is available. Also. please let me know if a 2 1/2 version will NEVER be available i.e. due to load limit issues or.......

Hey Daniel! For a anti-rattle hitch collar that fits a 2-1/2" receiver, I recommend our etrailer item # e55YV. I know it's been a few months since we last spoke but we just got them in.

Our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV has the same reliability and stabilizing features as our original 2" hitch collar item # e38FV. It's going to firmly attach to the lip of your truck's 2-1/2" receiver and prevent any movement of your ball mount's shank.

There are no weight capacity limitations but our etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV will not work with weight distribution systems. For one that is compatible with a weight distribution system, you'll need the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches item # RM-062.

An added perk that's included with our 2-1/2" etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar item # e55YV is the reducer sleeve. If you're using an accessory or ball mount with a 2" shank and want the same solid stable grip you'll be able to use the included reducer along with the anti-rattle collar.

Please note that If you are using our etrailer item # e55YV with a 2" accessory it needs to be installed right side up. It will not function properly if you install it sideways with the reducer.
