Hey Todd,

Thanks for reaching out. We can definitely help you get your Jeep set up for flat towing.

Based on your description, it sounds like your aftermarket bumper has D-ring mounts that you're planning to use as the tow points. If that's the case, you'll still need a set of D-ring adapters to connect the tow bar to the bumper.

Depending on the size of your D-rings, you'll need either:

Part # BX88358 for 1-inch D-rings, or
Part # BX88357 for 7/8-inch D-rings.

I'd pair those with the Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - 10,000 lbs # BX7420. During installation, you'll remove the three knuckle clevis from the ends of the tow bar and connect it directly to the D-ring adapters.

For your lighting, I'd recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This kit includes everything needed to install a 6-way connector on the front of your Jeep, along with the coiled umbilical that connects the Jeep to your motorhome. The included diodes protect both electrical systems by preventing backfeeding between the motorhome and the Jeep.

For supplemental braking, a great option is the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency Portable Braking System # BLU37TR. It's a portable system that sits on the driver's floorboard, attaches to the brake pedal, and proportionally applies the Jeep's brakes based on the braking force from your motorhome. To power the Patriot, you'll also need the 12-Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332. I'd also recommend adding the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit # RM-751490. This provides a signal to the monitor in your motorhome whenever the supplemental braking system applies the Jeep's brakes, giving you peace of mind that everything is working properly while you're towing.

If you have any questions about the rest of the flat towing setup, just let me know. I'd be happy to help make sure you have everything you need.

What type of coach are you going to be flat towing you Jeep with?
