Question:

will this kit work in my 2002 ford 150 short box? have a Power Lift Valley hitch, goose neck, will this installation kit work? Thanks

The part you've asked about, # C16204 is the bed mounted fifth wheel base rails only. It does not include the frame mounting brackets or the installation hardware. For the complete kit that's compatible with your truck, you'd want # C16437-204..

The install rails are compatible with fifth wheel hitches that use industry standard rails, which includes Valley, Husky, Reese and Curt, among others.

If your truck currently has a Gooseneck hitch with a 2-5/16 inch ball that sits in the truck bed, it will almost certainly interfere with the installation of a fifth wheel hitch. You'd need to remove the gooseneck or use a fifth wheel adapter that fits into the gooseneck hitch. I looked online for a Power Lift Valley gooseneck hitch, and found no result. If you could confirm the make and model of your gooseneck hitch, I'd be happy to make some recommendations.
