Updated 07/08/2026 | Published 07/02/2026

Question:

I’m looking for a ubolts for my trailer build. I need 2 3/8 x 6 1/4. Do you guys have anything like that? I have a 3500lbs axle. . I can find 2 3/8 but they seems to stop short at 5 to 5.5”. Appears there right length I need comes in 2 1/2. Would that work or no? Thanks.

Hey Chad,

Thanks for your question!

A good option for your application is the Long U-Bolt Kit for the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Suspension System - For 2-3/8" Diameter Axles # RM74MW.

This is a new product for us and is designed for the aftermarket Roadmaster Comfort Ride suspension system, which requires longer U-bolts to install. The kit includes 6-1/2-inch-long U-bolts with a 2-3/8-inch inside diameter, so they will work for a 3,500-lb trailer axle.

Since this is such a new product, we don't even have product photos available yet.

For comparison, our standard U-bolt kits for 3,500-lb axles, such as # APUBR-1, include U-bolts that are 5-1/2 inches long.

Out of curiosity, why are you needing the additional U-bolt length for on your trailer build?
