I own a Grand Design Image 22BHE. Looking to replace the existing plastic door holder with a stainless steel one. I want it to fit the existing screw hole pattern so I dont have to drill new holes. Please advise. Thank you.

Hey Rich, welcome back! The RV Designer 90-Degree Entry Door Holder item # RD58ZR is the closest comparable stainless steel option we have to replace the plastic door holder Grand Design uses.

The mounting bolt holes for the 90-Degree Entry Door Holder item # RD58ZR are spaced 2-5/16" vertically x 1" horizontally on both the base and the plunger mounting brackets.

Grand Design uses their own part numbers so I do not know how their door holder mounting holes are spaced so you will need to take a couple measurements of the ones you have to compare.

Did you break your plastic door holder or are you just looking to upgrade before it breaks?
