What Lippert Lead Leg and follow Leg do I Need for My Gen 2 Level Up Hydraulic Leveling System?

Question:

I am trying to determine the correct landing gear replacement for a 2016 dutchman voltage with the lippert level up hydraulic system. Lippert is saying that the correct part for the V2 gear is 2024015099. In addition they say it can be used in either the lead for follow position. I have seen in you forum that there is some confusion as you say it is a LC83ED for lead and LC23ED for follow. Are these old part numbers as I got my information directly from Lippert today. Thanks

Happy to clear up some confusion. The Lippert Level Up Hydraulic Leveling Jack - 14K - Gen 2 - Clear - Dome - JIC # LC28CK, which is Lippert's part number 2024015099, was just added to our site in March 2026. It is awesome that they came up with a replacement jack that works for both the lead and follow positions.

The information you've seen in some of our older Q&A referring to # LC83ED as the lead leg and # LC23ED as the follow leg was correct based on the information Lippert provided at the time. Since you've now confirmed directly with Lippert that part 2024015099 replaces either position, I would go with their current recommendation. As the manufacturer, they'll always have the most up to date replacement information.

The other legs will still work, I would guess now that they have one to do both, it is just a matter of time before they get rid of the others.
