my customer has 2014 ford flex 3.5l with a trailer hitch and a 4 pin harness, and wants to tow a boat which has trailer brakes and a 7 pin. What are the best options?

Hey Jim, I would recommend the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED52VR for your 2014 Ford Flex as it only puts a small knob on the dash of your vehicle and is a great performing controller. This is the controller I was able to talk my brother and Dad into getting for their trucks as well actually.
Since your Flex has a 4-way in it currently you would need the # ETBC7 to convert it to a 7-way and also wire in the brake controller as it is a kit that covers both of those things. What kind of boat did you get?
