Will Thermostat of Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube Work with Furnace

Will this thermostat run the heat pump and the furnace or is a second thermostat required?

Hey Cody, the thermostat of the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR27TQ is supposed to work with furnaces but it's not doing so as reliably as we'd like. It will run the heat pump that comes with this kit though. If you have a current thermostat installed I would leave that mounted and if the Chill Cube thermostat won't work with it just use it for the time being.
We've been told that Furrion is working on an update so that it will work with furnaces.
