If you're pulling your trailer with a 2026 GMC Sierra 2500, you'll need the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera item # FR87PR. The newer truck's have a power management system that regulates the voltage sent through the accessory pin on the 7-way connector. This causes the signal issues when using a camera system like the Furrion Vision S+ item # FR69DF because it doesn't send enough consistent voltage.

The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter item # FR87PR works similar to a capacitor. It stores up energy and sends a consistent amount of voltage from your Sierra to your trailer. This will plug inline with your trailer's 7-way cable and your Sierra's 7-way connector and take care of all your signal issues.

Another option if your camera's are all powered off of the same circuit is to hardwire the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems item # VGR64VR before the camera wires split off. This will do the same thing as the item # FR87PR adapter as far as regulating voltage.

What kind of tow vehicle are you using and what kind of trailer do you have?

@JerredH So I need the 7 way plug you referenced then?

@CarlC That entirely depends on what tow vehicle you're using.
