Hello Daniel,

Thanks for including the serial number and axle capacity. That was very helpful!

Based on the Dexter serial number you provided, the correct bearing and seal kit for your 7,000 lb, 8-lug axle is the Bearing Kit, 14125A/25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # BK3-200.

This kit includes the inner bearing, inner race, outer bearing, outer race, grease seal, cotter pin, and tang washer needed to service one hub. Be sure to order one kit per hub, so if you have a single axle trailer you'll need two kits, and if you have a tandem axle trailer you'll need four kits.

When you're ready to install the new bearings, you'll want to thoroughly pack them with grease before installation. If you don't already have wheel bearing grease on hand, I recommend the LubriMatic Prime Guard High Temperature Wheel Bearing Grease - Red - 16 oz Can # L11380. It's designed for high-temperature applications and works great for trailer wheel bearings.

What kind of trailer are you working on?

These worked great on our 7K trailer with twin axle setup. I already had the "D" washers and lock tabs to secure the hubs and bearing adjustmentd. Now would be the time to free up, clean and lube the brake linkage. T

@Tc Thanks for sharing your experience TC! We're glad these worked well on your 7K tandem-axle trailer, and we appreciate the maintenance tip about cleaning and lubricating the brake linkage while everything is apart. Happy towing!
