Rust is the biggest enemy of a trailer hub, especially when you’re launching into saltwater or towing in wet conditions. This DeeMaxx marine-grade hub uses durable galvanized steel to fight corrosion and keep its surface clean even after repeated exposure. It’s designed for long life on the water or the road, giving you steady performance without constant maintenance.
This hub is built to handle serious weight. It fits 7,000-lb trailer axles with #42 spindles and carries a 3,500-lb capacity per hub. The 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2"-20 x 2-1/2" wheel studs make it ready for rugged duty with reliable holding power and smooth rotation mile after mile.
No need to press in your own races or worry about alignment. The inner (25520) and outer (14276) bearing races come pre-installed so setup stays quick and clean. Just add your 25580 inner bearing, 14125A outer bearing, GS-2250DL grease seal, grease cap, and lug nuts to finish the job.
Whether you’re running an idler axle or upgrading to disc brakes, this hub is ready. It can be used alone or paired with a 13" slip-on rotor for disc brake setups. The wheel studs are long enough to clear an over-the-hub brake rotor or thicker custom wheels, so you get a solid fit without any modifications.
From hauling boats to powering small equipment trailers, this galvanized hub keeps things simple and dependable. Its sturdy build and clean finish hold up against tough use, backed by a 3-year limited warranty for added peace of mind.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this DeeMax galvanized trailer idler hub. Now, this is a marine grade trailer hub assembly that's going to fit your 7,000 pound trailer idler axles with the number 42 spindles. You can also pair this with an over the hub 13 inch diameter rotor for your disc brake applications if you wanted to have brakes on your trailer. This galvanized steel construction is gonna be very durable and corrosion resistant, so it is gonna be great for your boat or snowmobile trailer. The wheel stud dimensions here are a half inch in diameter and they are two and a half inches long.
You can see we've got the eight half inch bolts in the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. So, having these long wheel studs is going to allow you to mount an over the hub brake rotor or a custom wheel with a thicker mounting face. The races are pre-installed, so you've got your inner and your outer race already installed there. You can see those part numbers on the screen there if you need those numbers. The bearings and the grease seal are sold separately.
You can see the compatible part numbers on the screen there as well. So, if you're wanting to put those in place, if you don't already have them, you can find them [email protected] using those part numbers that you see there. So, that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Good value in galvanized hubs.
Fast service and exactly what I needed
Good price and quality not sacrificed.
Very good trailer hubs use for salt water and disc brake install. Happy with this hubs
Perfect, cheap enough to not bother cleaning up the old ones plus a galvanized finish
Although galvanized, I sprayed the hubs with galvanizing paint (2 coats) to act as a paint primer. Then sprayed with black paint (2 coats). No rust and paint is tightly adhered one year later. I also purchased stainless grease caps at installation because the standard caps always rust. Fit, form, function, and finish worked great for my saltwater boat trailer.
Very quick delivery…….Great product!!!
Part of my DE46AR upgrade.
Received in good condition
Will install them in a few weeks
Very pleased with the product
I installed new hubs because I ordered the wrong Hydra Star brake system (rotors only), the hubs assembled without issues. I also installed the Comfort Ride Slipper System when I did the Hydra Star brakes.
I have around 250 miles on this setup traveling through SE Kansas, SW Missouri and NW Arkansas. The road from Joplin to Eureka Springs AR was a hair raising experience, 2 lane 15 to 35 mph curves with the side of the mountain 3 feet from the edge of the road. I was glad to have the new hydraulic brake system, I would not tow another camper without them.
I know this review covers more than the hubs but everything worked well. I would purchase everything again. I would also like to mention shipping, I ordered them Friday at 4pm and received on Tuesday. Thanks
