Question:
Do you have a version for a six lug? I think these could potentially fit even though it says five lug, let me know your thoughts?

Hey Chris, thanks for reaching out. The CE Smith Spare Tire Mount # CE27201 will not work with a 6-lug (6 on 5-1/2") wheel. I went and grabbed one from our warehouse and tried to fit it thru the holes on a 6-lug wheel and it would not fit. You'd have to bend it like superman to get it to fit and this might weaken the bolt, not to mention the lock brackets would be too far apart to work with most standard padlocks.
If you have 6-lug wheels, I have to recommend using something specifically made for 6-lug wheels. We have a few options for that. Take a look at the following:
- Tie Down High-Mount Spare Tire Mount - 4, 5, and 6 Lug Wheels - Galvanized Steel # TD78FR
- Tie Down Pivoting Spare Tire Mount - 4, 5, and 6 Lug Wheels - Galvanized Steel # TD46FR
- Tie Down Spare Tire Mount - 4, 5, and 6 Lug Wheels - Galvanized Steel # TD86FR
What trailer are you outfitting?

Hi Jesse, Thanks for doing that and sorry you don’t have Superman strength. I know I definitely don’t. I was looking for something to lay flat on the front right under the crank and before the boat starts. We have room for that on this trailer. Since the spare does not match the wheels on the trailer, I don’t want it displayed Verte at all. Really a U-bolt is the only way to do that in my opinion or if there was another alternative to keep it flat, I don’t see one right now. I may just have to make something on my own. Thanks for taking a look and going as far as you did! Chris
