If you want to skip the guesswork and just get on the road, this starter kit covers the basics in 1 box. It gives you the key items you need for setup, hookups, and maintenance, so you're not scrambling to piece everything together.
Getting a new RV ready takes more than a power cord and a place to park. This starter kit brings the main setup, hookup, and maintenance items together, including water, sewer, chocking, tank treatment, toilet paper, gloves, and a 30A to 15A power adapter. It gives you the core pieces for campsite setup without piecing them together one item at a time.
Fresh water, tank dumping, and parked stability are the jobs new RV owners run into right away. The 35' lead-free freshwater hose and water regulator support safe water delivery, while the 20' leak-resistant sewer hose, clear 4-in-1 elbow, and storage caps support cleaner tank dumping. Two nesting wheel chocks help secure the parked RV and store compactly when the campsite is packed up.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Lippert essential RV starter kit. So folks, this is gonna be an all-inclusive kit with just the basics. So you're gonna get eight things that you're gonna need primarily for hooking up, setting up, and maintenance kind of stuff. So you're gonna have two wheel chalk. So once you get to your campsite, you are gonna be setting up, `you don't want trailer movement, right So you're gonna use the wheel chalks and you're gonna make sure that nothing's rolling forward or back, especially when you're walking around in your camper RV, right And then the next thing you're gonna have is the hose here, 20- You're gonna have 20 foot of hose, and then you're gonna have this elbow here, and that's gonna be for, I'm sorry, 35 foot of hose, not 20.
That's gonna be for your fresh water and your regular support for that water delivery. And these have built-in screens in 'em and everything to keep out minerals and those kind of stuff, and that one whatnot. And then of course, you're gonna have your 20 foot long sewer hose, and this is gonna have the bayonet style lugs on it, very common. And then you're also gonna get with this, the clear 90 degree elbow here. And this is made to be a four in one, meaning it can fit up to four different size of dump sites.
So this is gonna go down into the dump whenever you're dumping your blackwater tank. And it's clear so you can see whenever the dump is finished. And also whenever you're done clearing out, you know, rinsing out the hose and everything, you'll be able to visibly see, hey, I'm getting clean water (clears throat) Excuse me. You have your electrical connector, so this is gonna be your adapter for that power hookup. You have a box of nitrate gloves, you got 40 gloves in here.
That's what you wanna wear every time you're handling your hose, when you're doing your black water dumps and the elbows and everything. And of course, you're gonna get toilet paper. It's a two-ply toilet paper. If you're not familiar, you do need special RV and marine toilet paper because the makeup just has to be able to break down properly for the systems that the RV industry and the marine industry uses. So make sure you're never using regular store-bought residential toilet paper in your systems.
Well, folks, I think we've gone over everything here in the kit. Just a quick, basic look. This is the Lippert essential RV starter kit. One last thing I did forget, I just saw here. So you do have the Flow Max holding tank treatment. This is gonna be added to your holding tank. There's instructions on here that tells you how much to add, and that's gonna keep things fresh, smelling good, and whatnot as well. I'm Steven, thanks for watching, and have a good one.
