I see the stealth hitch is 600 but how do i get the wiring and upgrade so it can tow trailers?

Hi Jeffrey!

TO get the towing set up for your 2023 BMW X3, you will need to add on the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring # 391CONVD5 with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH46FR.

If your X3 is an M model, you can actually order it all as one part with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2" # SH45VR. This is slightly different from the above parts though, so if you do not have the M model, you will need to order the separate parts from above.

I plan to tow a very small trailer for yard and house work. kayak and bike. small 1 or 2 person camper. 23 x3 m40i

@JeffreyH Since you have the M40i model, you will definitely want to do the # SH46FR and then add on the # 391CONVD5 towing kit. Sounds like you are getting ready to do all sorts of stuff! The towing kit will give you a 7-Way plug on your X3, but it also includes an adapter to go to a 4-Flat, so you will not need anything else to get out on the road. @Jeff It does look to be the same thing, but the price looks to be the same. Stealth Hitches does a map pricing thing so everyone should have their prices set.
