Hi Charles,
To flat tow your 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid, you can use the following parts:
- Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit w/Removable Arms part # DM77YV, the arms will remove when not towing to give the front of your Maverick a more seamless look.
- Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar for 2" hitches part # DM9511012 that is rated for 6,000lbs, has self-supporting arms so they won't fall on the ground when you're hooking it up, has integrated safety cables, and a built-in rise/drop and tilt to ensure the tow bar is level when you're towing. The arms are easily released once you get to your destination using a trigger on the arm, so that you won't have to fight to disengage the latch.
- Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-way to 6-way Coiled Adapter Cord part # RM-15267 to connect your RV"s tail/brake/turn signals with the towed vehicle's.
- Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System part # BLU37TR plugs right into the 12V and can be easily removed when you're wanting to drive your tow vehicle.
- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-156-25 to trickle charge your battery with 12V power from your RV while driving to keep the battery from dying. I've included a wiring diagram for the 6-way socket of your vehicle as well for reference.
*Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes part # RM-156-75 is only needed if your RV does NOT have 12V power present on the socket. *
What adventures are you planning first with the Maverick behind your Winnebago?

The setup has worked well. I installed the parts myself and towed 2000 miles. That was two years ago- I traveled cross country without the maverick and have yet to be back home w the RV. It did tow well. For braking I used the Demco stay in play, which I prefer. There is another Florida outfit that has done manny of these too. I plan to ship the maverick west in July so I can tow August thru October to Canada
