Looking For Replacement Hydraulic Pump For Slide Out On 1997 Airstream Integrity 5th Wheel

Question:

I have a 1997 Airstream Integrity 5th wheel with 3 hydraulic slides. The hydraulic pump has failed and I need to replace it. Would you have something that would replace it?

Hey William, thanks for reaching out. We may have what you need but I'll need to verify exactly what type of slide out system you are working with currently. Those aren't make and model specific to your camper so there's no way to look up your rig and see exactly which pump you'll need. The hydraulic pumps and brand and model specific to the slide out system.

For example, the Lippert Replacement Hydraulic Power Unit # LC141111 replaces the 2-quart pump reservoir for an IRC slide out system. This is a direct replacement for a Haldex 9SP pump.

Do you know what brand and model pump you have currently? There should be sticker on it with that info. Let me know.

The pump is a Dewald with serial number 004226. I have pictures I can send.

@WilliamS Ok gotcha. I can tell you we don't carry replacements for the Dewald slide out pump assemblies here. Those are made by Lippert though so I'd suggest reaching out directly to them to see if they can provide a replacement.

@JesseM so lippert said the same part number for replacement, 141111. My next question is, is this a plug and play or do I need something else. There are three slides and I have six hydraulic lines to attach.

@Bill Honestly, with a Dewald setup running three slides and six hydraulic lines, I’d be pretty hesitant to call the # LC141111 a true plug-and-play replacement. The motor and pump side may work fine, but the real question is whether the manifold and hose port layout match your current Dewald assembly. If all six lines are going directly into the existing unit, there’s a decent chance you’ll end up needing adapters, moving fittings around, or even swapping manifolds to make everything work correctly.
