Will The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Work With A 2026 Thor Pasadena Pulling A 3 Horse Trailer?

Will this brake controller work in a 2026 Thor Pasadena Ford E-450 RV to pull a 3 horse bumper pull trailer?

Hi Deane, congrats on the new RV!

The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional # RED52VR can definitely handle your 3 horse trailer. Well, as long as it only has 2 axles. If you have 3 axles, you will need the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR.

If you don't already have it, you will also need some wiring. you will need to start with the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. This will get all the lights on a trailer their functions. From there, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. This will piggyback off the 4-Flat and get you the rest off the functions for the 7-Way. I included a diagram of how i should be wired up as well.
