Does PowerMax RV Toilet Have Flushing Holes All Around The Toilet Bowl

Updated 04/28/2026 | Published 04/25/2026

Question:

We have a 2024 Reflection 324MBS fifth wheel in which we have from factory a Thetford Aqua Magic II toilet installed. We have 2 issues with it. One being many gussets on the bottom of the seat making it hard to keep clean and that the jets don’t seem to properly flush the front half of the bowl. We watched one of your partnered you tubers open roading which talked about having the same issues as us. They had etrailer send them a power flush 310 to replace their current toilet. Would you be able to tell me if the power flush 310 has the flushing holes all around the lip of the bowl and will it flush properly with normal pressure from factory water pump and average city water pressure. And is there a residential lid that is available to replace their current toilet plastic lid that comes with the power flush 310 other than the lid for a dometic 310. Thanks for your time.

Hey Rick! The PowerMax RV Toilet # PM42VR does have flush holes all around the rim of the bowl. This is how it gets the 360º swirl. It will work with your standard water pump and city water connection. The lid that comes with this toilet is the only option at this time.

Make sure you double check your rough-in measurement as well. This requires a 10" rough-in to fit. If you don't have that much space in your Grand Design you won't be able to use this as a replacement. See the attached photo.

Any big trips coming up with the Reflection this spring/summer?
