Question:
I have a 2026 Jeep Sahara. I just installed a 2in hitch and would like the best bike racks for 3 bikes ideally that have a long enough neck that I do not need a hitch extender. I have a the manufacture tire on the back, nothing extra large.

Hey Luis, if you are looking for the best three-bike rack the Kuat Piston Pro part # KU38ZR is the way to go. It's very easy to use, very well made, and also looks really nice as well. It has 10-1/8 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest bike tray as well so it would have plenty of clearance to fit past your rear spare as well. What kind of bikes do you have?

Hey Luis I have the JL model and I think I understand what you’re dealing with. If your goal is to be able to open the Jeep gate, you may consider a drop down. This is for my GMC HD, but it would help with the space. You would need to look up something for a 2 inch as this is designed for a 2 1/2 inch. https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Adapters/Roadmaster/RM-058-4.html E trailer contacted me about commenting on an anti-rattle pin that I also use. I have this on my travel trailer and it has worked very well….for multiple years. Back to the drop-down, I use this now with a three bike carrier by Thule. I had to buy a heavy duty one made for E bikes. If you ever plan to use E bikes, you might want to consider it. Hope you find a sliver of this helpful. Ron
