Hello, im trying to figure out what size replacement bearings and seals i may need on my 2009 keystone camper. I found the dexter axle tag and it has a D35 Dex: 61285 on it but i can seem to corellate that with anything. Does that number help narrow things down or do i need something else? It also has the PO and i can send that to dexer too probably. Thanks

Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. Yes those numbers you provided are exactly what we need! Your Dexter D35 61285 axle is a standard 3,500 lb axle. For a full bearing kit here is what you'll need:

- Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and AL-KO Axles - 3,500 lb with #84 Spindle # BK2-100

This comes with bearings, races, seal, cotter pin and tang washer. Everything you need to replace/repack your bearings so you can get back on the road confidently.

Are you going to replace all the bearings? Or just picking up a kit for a spare?

Thanks! We just bought this used and the current seals look like they make leaked, so ill probably be replacing everything for the sake of safety. As far as trips we are just planning a wedding and lots of fishing trips!

@BrianF Brian: I bought the same bearing set for my utility trailer. Getting the rear race off the axle ,the larger of the 2 was a bit tricky but heating the race made it come off easily. I heated it by welding to it with 2 welding rods,welding the rods to the race and it pulled off easily. I would think though that if you have trouble a propane torch would do but take a little longer. It all went back together easily. Ron
