Video Transcript for Review of Bigfoot Trailer Jack - Hydraulic Jack Set Dual Pump - BF87FR

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Bigfoot Hydraulic Jack set with dual pumps. Folks, this is a heavy duty capacity and versatile setup. Lift capacity is gonna be 24,000 pounds total. Now the dual pump setup is really nice because it's gonna give you that versatility to adjust side to side if you're on uneven surface on one side or something of that nature.

And this is great for cargo, livestock, heavy equipment trailers that are either bumper-pull, goosenecks, those kind of things. And you're gonna get the complete package. You're gonna get all the hardware required to bolt it onto your trailer. So again, no welding, that's gonna save you time and money, simply bolt it in place. You're gonna get this nice lockable dual remote control, meaning you can go up or down on that side and this side and then you can lock it to where no one can mess with it when it's not in use.

And you get a nice length, generous length of wire for that. The brackets and everything again are welded in place. On here, they measure four inches tall by seven and a half inches long. And then these little guys match up two 'em that same four inches tall. And then that gives you movement if you need to slide it around again with the included hardware to set that up.

Now what's not included is inside of these housings you have a pump, a reservoir on each side. Each one individually requires about three quarts of ATF Dextron III individually. So you're gonna need about six quarts of that ATF Dextron III to complete your installation. And you're also gonna need obviously a 12 volt battery source to power those pumps. They have a black gloss powder coat finish, so they're heavy duty, very durable to handle, corrosion resistant, those kind of things.

The foot plates are flexible, so they pivot. I just have wedges in there for safety right now so they don't tip over on me. But those can pivot pretty much pretty a distance each way. Again, that's gonna help with leveling things out on uneven surface. They measure 10 inches by 10 inches square on the foot plates. A height overall from the top of the jack to the bottom of the foot plate. When it's fully retracted like you see now, I got 34 inches. Now per the manufacturer, it's gonna be 55 inches tall overall when it's fully extended. I don't have any fluid or battery here to verify that exact measurement, but it should be around 55 inches from bottom to top when it's fully extended. And again, folks, everything here is high quality, heavy duty. You can technically remove these power unit boxes and move them if you want to. They just simply bolt on. Just keep in mind if you move them for whatever reason, maybe you don't wanna, you don't have the space for everything, but you have the space for the jack legs, you can move these, you may just have to purchase separately, some longer hydraulic lines to then, you know, move it to wherever you need it. That way it can reach and do its thing. And keep in mind, if you do get longer hoses, you may potentially have to put a little bit more of that ATF fluid in there, but you may not also.
