I have a DL1800A winch on my boat trailer and I am looking for a 6 inch or 7 inch replacement handle which one would you recommend?

Your Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL15502 comes standard with a 9-1/2-inch quick-attach handle. If you were to substitute a shorter handle the altered geometry would mean that you will have to crank harder to wind the cable. However, my contact at Dutton-Lainson confirmed that you can use part # DL70336 which is 6-inches long and includes the quick-attach feature.
