It sure will Dale. That's one of the great features of the Benton LittleShift Bike Rack item # B29VR. The ratcheting hook can be used to secure your bike by the frame or the front wheel. Since you have fenders you'll definitely want to secure your bike by the frame.

The Benton LittleShift item # B29VR has a 80 lbs capacity and fits tires up to 4" wide. It works with wheelbases up to 50" long and 20" - 29" diameter wheels.

What kind of bike do you have?

It an Trek Allante stagger type frame. Has fenders. Friend is buying it. Looks like it needs a seatpost type clamp. Dont think this one will work. Thanks, Dale

@DaleL You're welcome! Thanks for getting back to me with what bike you or your friend has. The Benton LittleShift item # B29VR would still work if you used the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar Alternative Frame Bikes item # HRBA-PRO. This bar would attach to the seat post and the handle bar stem. The ratcheting hook would secure it to the bike rack. Another option is to use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR. This is a 2-bike rack that has adjustable clamps. The clamps are designed to grip the bike's seat post or the frame.
