Will the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit K71-653-00 Fit a 36 Inch Axle Spacing

Question:

What ez flex goes on 7000lbs dexter axles spaced 36inches apart with 4 3/4 each side from center factory stabilizer. Hangers are 1 3/4 wide.

I do have an option for you but there are not any Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kits designed specifically for an axle spacing of 36". This 36" axle spacing is common for tandem axle slipper spring systems but not double eye tandem axle leaf spring systems. However, I spoke with my contact at Dexter and they stated the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit part # K71-653-00 should still work for you, as long as you have double-eye springs, as it is designed for a 35" axle spacing.

If the equalizers are not in the correct resting positions once installed then we can change out the shackle straps to account for the added 1/2" of length on each end but Dexter stated to install the kit with the included shackle straps before changing them out to a longer version because it may not be necessary.
